Hello old friends and new! My name is Jessica Torrant and I am a self
representing painter, kick steppin', nature loving, wild woman from farm
country in northern Connecticut. My passion for painting has been as strong
as my need for independence, and the internet has allowed the two to
merge quite comfortably through the years. I enjoy working from home in
my backyard studio, living a quiet life that suits me, and then sharing my art
with the world as soon as the paint dries. It's like magic.
I've really found my "home" in this virtual space, and though one would think
the internet can be impersonal, I have found it to be quite the opposite. I've
enjoyed getting to know and connect with fellow contemporary creators, I
have the pleasure of getting emails from customers sharing their own
personal connections to my art, and I enjoy offering suggestions to budding
young artists who contact me on occasion. If you'd like to contact me about
